The diversity of Greek Wine Nick Kontarines and Geoff Morris Yamas Wines Ltd
The Dulwich Wine Society (formed in 1991) meets at 7.30pm on Wednesday evenings at the Crown and Greyhound in Dulwich Village, unless otherwise noted on our programme.
At the tastings, a speaker introduces a number of different wines on a theme. In addition to regular contributions from members, speakers include lecturers, wine merchants and Masters of Wine. Cheese and biscuits are available mid-way through the meeting, which provides a chance to get to know others socially.
Membership for the 12 week spring session costs £35.
The cost per evening is £12 for members, and £20 for non-members (this includes the talk, all the wines, and refreshments for the evening).
If you are thinking of joining the Dulwich Wine Society and wish to sample an evening before committing yourself to the full session, a reduction in membership may be negotiated. We recommend that you bring at least two tasting glasses with you.
Members come from a wide area of SE London, as well as Dulwich, we have members in Crystal Palace, West Norwood, Tulse Hill, Herne Hill, Forest Hill, Beckenham, Bromley, Chislehurst, Kensington, Eltham and the City.
If you are interested and would like further details, please contact the Chairman Colin Wagstaff (020 8402 6587) or the Secretary Tim Havenhand.
